The ten most-traded firms accounted for 38.30 per cent of the transactions on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in the outgoing week, with Genex Infosys making it to the top of the weekly turnover list.FEThe week saw a total turnover of Tk 25.85 billion.According to DSE data, Genex Infosys generated Tk 1.54 billion, contributing 5.98 per cent to weekly turnover.The company s share price advanced 6.62 per cent to close at Tk 101.40 each.Bangladesh Shipping Corporation came second on the turnover chart, with a turnover of Tk 1.27 billion, which is 4.93 per cent of the weekly turnover. The company s share price rose 3.57 per cent to close at Tk 133.50 each on Thursday.Of other turnover leaders, the share price of Sea Pearl Beach Resort & Spa advanced 16.32 per cent and closed at Tk 320.10 each.The company posted a turnover of Tk 1.15 billion, capturing 4.46 per cent of the total turnover.The share price of Eastern Housing jumped 16.54 per cent this week and closed at Tk 105.70 each. The company posted a total turnover of Tk 1.10 billion, grabbing 4.28 per cent of the market turnover.ADN Telecom accounted for 4.08 per cent of the market turnover. It generated Tk 1.05 billion during the wee. Its share price went up 18.09 per cent to close at Tk 166.50 each.The turnover of Shinepukur Ceramics stood at Tk 830.42 million, grabbing 3.21 per cent of the total market turnover. During the week, the company s share price went up by 2.18 per cent to close at Tk 46.80 each.Gemini Sea Food, Rupali Life Insurance Company, Bashundhara Paper Mills and Aamra networks are the remaining turnover leaders.
